Rejuvenate

This project involved me finding an artifact in an antique store, which I then wanted to rejuvenate using simple media gouache and the photocopying machine. My inspiration for this particular piece was the Wurst Gallery, where there are humorous paintings of characters in original traditional paintings. I experimented with the idea of creating visually ridiculous characters, to explore the idea of drunkeness in advertising.
