Dumb Dog

Having an opinion is crucial. Taking that opinion and expressing it through design, was the aim of this project. This idea originated from a newspaper article about a campaign to help children with dsylexia, having identified the frustration and ignorance of different learning styles and the author being mocked as a child as a "Dumb Dog". The letter forms were handmade to create an exaggerated shadow; the text in the book was handmade too. I collaged the text from a history book, to give the impression on how a dsylexic sees when reading outloud. It evokes the hidden secret of confusion felt by a dsylexic.
